Our First "Child"

Everyone has been asking for an update, which I thought I would have one by now. We have been back to the doctor twice, each time hoping for a cute little 3D shot of Ellie to show off, but nope...she has had none of it. The first ultrasound she was moving too much and keeping her face hid the entire time. Despite much begging and "jiggling" of her home, the second ultrasound was also to no avail. She was sleeping and kept her face hid the whole time. This is Clark's theory on why she has not revealed herself to us...

Derrick Zoolander (Ben Stiller) is a male model and is famous for his look "Blue Steel". He is working a new look that he claims is so beautiful that the world is not ready for it. This look is called "MAGNUM". At the end of the movie Zoolander unleashes "MAGNUM" and it is so glooorious that it stuns the whole room. Because of its stunning beauty "MAGNUM" spoils Magato's (Will Ferrell) assignation attempt, thus saving the life of the prime minister of Malaysia and preserving world peace and restores good will for all. Basically "MAGNUM" is so magnificent that it saves the world. Laura Elizabeth is in the same predicament, having to wait for the perfect moment to unleash her "MAGNUM". -Clark

What I can tell everyone is that as of yesterday she weighs 1 lb. 7 oz. She is growing!

So, since we have no face shot for everyone, we thought we should honor our first "child" as his world will soon be changing once his little sister arrives!
This is why we had to get a king size bed...he has to sleep on our pillows in between the both of us. Can we say he is a little rotten? I think so.
