2 Month Check Up

Ellie turned 8 weeks old last Thursday, and we were at the doctor that morning for her check up. She is growing so fast. Here is how much she has changed since her 2 week check up:

Dr. Moore is very happy with her weight gain, and growth in general. I couldnt believe how much she jumped up her height. My mom we a pretty tall lady, so maybe she is going to be tall like her Nana. She also got her first vaccinations, and she was a champ (her momma...not so much) We were both crying but she was easily soothed by nursing. It took me a couple minutes to get it together. I had never heard a noise like that from her before, and it was so sad.

Things are getting more exciting around the Rogers. Ellie is smiling, cooing, and sticking her tongue out all the time. She is also being more vocal when she is unhappy or bored! This weekend we spent a lot of time outside since it was so pretty, and we got a little Spring Fever! We hope this weather sticks arounds for a while!
