Here are the stats of Elizabeth's 18 month check up:
Height: 32 1/4 inches 67% (Dr. Moore thinks there is a good chance she will be taller then me!)
Weight: 22.04 pounds 20% (still a shrimp...but that is OK...she stays REALLY busy...can I get that metabolism and/or energy PLEASE)
Head Circumference: 47.5 cm...76% It looks like she is growing into her head...so that is comforting.
WEIGHT: 20 pounds, 14 ounces (19%)
HEIGHT: 31.5 in (77%)
HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE: 47.5 cm (88%).
Here are some of the things she is up to these days:
~She goes to bed at 7 and still wakes up between 6-6:30
~She still eats really good...but LOVES chex mix, goldfish, cucumbers (with dip), and Chick-fil-A.
~We recently tried ice cream and she LOVED it (FYI-she gets a fruit at morning and afternoon snacks and with breakfast, and a vegetable with lunch and dinner...and she eats them...but given the choice to eats just the stuff she loves, I think she would be perfectly happy).
~She seems happiest on the beach, or when she is getting someones undivided attention.
~She loves to ride the car at the grocery store and wave and yell "hi" to EVERYONE...and she will repeatedly say "Hi,Hi,Hi,Hi,Hi" until they respond or until they are no longer in sight.
~She still seems to favor her left hand for eating and coloring.
~She is still NOT a good car rider.
~She likes to run around the house in circles while screaming :) CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY
~She still sleeps with Lily Mae and her pacifier, but we put them to bed in the closet when we wake up in the morning, and she only can get them for nap
~She is all about her daddy, but still needs her mommy (thank goodness).
~She loves to ring the doorbell and to push the buttons on the microwave.
~She has had a couple biting incidents at school and time-out is punishment.
~Some of the words she is saying: bye bye, hey, happy happy, ball, boat, Jackson, Mimi, Booker, paw, mommy, daddy, help, boo boo, night-night, hat, yes, no, more please, thanks, snack, Lily Mae, and I am sure some others that escape me at the minute...but she is starting to say new words all the time.
I am having so much fun with her...but admit I do miss the snugly little baby that couldn't tell me "NO." I don't care what she says...she will always be my baby!
