Sweet sisters...
...okay...sweet sisters sometimes. Hannah gets Elizabeth these days when she is bothered...
...and E is pretty good at bothering her sister.
The Saturday before said snowstorm we headed to the Columbia Museum of Art for a Sweet on CMA Valentine Party. The best part was the company we got to enjoy, but we learned how to do lots of crafts too.
The crafts came in really handy on Valentine's Day. E was pretty bummed that she didn't get to go to school and have her Valentine's Day party with her friends, so we had an impromptu "Sweet at the Rogers" party with some friends down the street. We had a dance party, made paper mache vases, decorated heart shaped sugar cookies (sprinkles GALORE), and made tissue paper hearts. It was so fun, and I really enjoyed hearing these sweet girls talk about who and why they were giving their valentine's to family and friends.
And these girls enjoyed their special valentine's from their sweet Daddy...
Saturday most of the snow/ice had melted, and by Sunday it was sunny and 67 degrees. We had a busy afternoon, so after a week cooped up inside and Clark gone from sun up to sun down, we made church happen for our family Sunday morning with a special trip to the park. It was a nearly perfect morning.
Disclaimer: I realized the other day that my facebook and instragram posts/pics probably are annoying for some. All I can do is brag about my family and post pics of the cutest kids ever (MINE!). I apologize if they annoy you. Life isn't perfect, and not all days are great....but goodness my heart overflows with love for my sweet family, and I can't help but share how wonderful most days are.
