It doesn't seem real that Julia-Lane hit the 6 month mark this past month. This year is flying by! She is growing like a weed and loving her baby food and bottles. She really loves all food (if she is in the right mood), and there isn't anything I am avoiding b/c of her preference-except dairy. It seems a schedule is emerging: am nap around 10-12pm (waking up right before Hannah goes down), pm nap from 3:30-5pm, and bed anytime from 8-9pm. I say "it seems" to be emerging b/c the past month of birthdays and Christmas activities has made it difficult for anyone to have a schedule. She is a true trooper, and really goes with the flow so well. She is rolling all over the place, and loving her walker (although she can only move it backwards). She loves to laugh, and Elizabeth is the best at getting her cackling. She is able to sit up unassisted for a few seconds, and is really loving playing (putting in her mouth) all her new toys she scored for Christmas. We are pretty confident she is teething by all the drooling and gumming of anything she can get in her mouth, but no teeth yet. Everyone still comments all the time on how happy she is. She really is. She gets bored sometimes at home and fusses a little, but when we are out and about she is all smiles. Girl likes to be on the go! Good thing with two older sisters.
B/c of the holidays we got a little behind on the 6 month check up, so sorry this post is about two weeks behind. Our NP was so happy with her growth and her personality! She smiled, coo'd and really showed him her true happy self! Here are her stats:
Head Circumference: 17 inches-70%
Height: 26.75 inches-74%
Weight:-15 pounds 7 ounces-30%
For comparison-all the girls at six months (in age order)
Head Circumference: 16.5 in 16.3 in 17 in (Julia-Lane in the lead)
Height: 26.25 in 26.5 in 26.75 in (Julia-Lane in the lead)
Weight: 15 lb 13 oz 16 lb 5 oz 15 lb 7 oz (Hannah in the lead)
And her pictures (which I did actually capture on her 6 month birthday)
