Just wanted to update everyone on Elizabeth's new childcare...we made the decision to move her to a licensed in home day care provider a month ago due to some concerns we were having with her daycare, and she started at her new place on January 25. It has been wonderful! She gets to visit places like fun zone and the park and zoo, she no longer has what we referred to as the "daycare drainage," she is no longer hitting, she is taking one LONG midday nap, she is sleeping through the night in her crib, and she doesn't cry at drop off in the mornings. Real quality care has made such a huge difference and we couldn't be happier (...well, maybe if I was home with her....) and it has made going to work so much easier. She has made lots of new friends, who affectionately refer to her as "the baby who walks" (she is the youngest, the other kids range from 2-5).
