Weekend Review

What a great weekend we had!  Friday we played late into the night (11:00!) with E's friend and neighbor Conner.  I tried to get pictures but no luck!  Saturday E got to celebrate a friend from school's birthday at the "Chapin Funzone," and after nap we headed to MiMi & Bookers to play with them, the Shennans, and so she could "dogsit" Sadie while Mommy & Daddy went to celebrate the Soon To Be Swygerts.  Sunday after E and I ran some errands, we headed back to MiMi & Bookers for dinner with them and Sallie & Neal.  I did manage to get a few pictures.  We love our weekends....

I love Sunday dinners with my family!  Elizabeth has been designated the napkin folder, and she does a great job!  We are also learning lots from MiMi...

 ...like how to use a pastry cutter...and what one even is for that matter! 

 Elizabeth did a great job making  the biscuits!

Booker was brave enough to let E work on the computer.  "What number do you want?" she asks...Booker got lucky that no pens or pencils found their way to the computer screen (I learned my lesson the hard way!)

 E has been learning about the Bible and God at church.  I found her sitting in my bedroom a few weeks ago reading my Bible (yes, upside down...she is talented)....

 ...and we decided to get her her own. Of course we ended up with a couple, but she just LOVES reading them.  She reminds me every night if we forget our Bible stories.  Of course we also have been having to answer a lot of questions about snakes, fruit, rainbows, babies, God...but it has been so much fun despite not having all the answers!

E's Godmother Aunt Laura & Baby Caroline are making the trek to SC TOMORROW!  SO. STINKING. EXCITED!  Get ready for lots of pictures of the cutest little thing you have seen, since, well, Elizabeth!
