We started our vacay on Friday and drove down to Pawley's to spend some time Saturday morning with a new friend (Marleigh, Aunt Laura's niece),
some old friends,
but mostly to see this beach beauty!
After Pawley's we drove up to Sunset and spent the week taking walks on the beach (preggo belly shadow with the mini me),
cooking with our family,
and enjoying lots of yummy meals together,
My favorite way of getting around during the week was the bike! We took lots of bike rides
got some wonderful QT in with the fam,
and saw amazing sunsets!
Our days were spent on the beach of course,
digging holes for the little ones (and big "kids") to play in.
These girls have just the most fun together and love each other so much!
There was jumping in holes, splashing, roley ball, paddle ball (another highlight of my week!),
and just lots of relaxing!
There was lots of talk about how different things will be next year when the 18 week pregnant woman turns back to a flat stomached (fingers crossed) mother of a 4 year old and a 7 month old!
We of course got ice cream at Cooter Creek Paddlesports (yes, that is the name of the fine establishment).
Pretty sunset from different spot of the island.
And even I got to enjoy a cold one on the beach!
We spent our last afternoon turning Clark into a sand-merman. Nothing gets grown ups into playing in the sand like burying Clark. My hubby is such a good sport.
It was a great week. I am looking forward to next year's already!
Special thanks to this guy for saving us this week! We came home with a bug that kept me at the doctor the first of this week, so E got to spend some one on one with Booker....and I don't know which one has enjoyed it most! Thanks Booker!!
