Things she loves: her bunny, Clark, Elizabeth, then me...in that order. Her favorite fruits are grapes and bananas. Her favorite veggies are peas. And girl would be just fine if all she ate for breakfast lunch and dinner was noodles or spaghetti. She has outgrown her dairy allergy, and she is enjoying new snacks like goldfish. I am hoping her list of foods she enjoys expands. She is a food grazer, and eats much better if she can wander and come to me for bites as she wants them. Her favorite books are Pat The Bunny and a little book she has with pictures of real animals, but loves to look through all her books (on her own). Hannah is an animal lover for sure. E likes to tell everyone that she is a dog person. She LOVES to climb....on everything...rocking chairs, toys, stairs...makes me a nervous wreck. She also loves to dance, and gets super excited when Choo Choo Soul comes on. Her favorite toys are ones that makes noise (future musician??) and anything of her sisters. She loves to sit on Elizabeth's bed with her sister...she thinks that is super cool. She also loves to brush her teeth and take baths. She loves to clap, and loves to have people clap for her.
Things she does not like: lots of foods (meat, green beans, broccoli, sweet potatoes, cucumbers to name a few...), she does not like the vacuum, she gets really upset if you do not respond to her request for whatever...and will arch her back and throw her head back...usually fall...and then she has real reason to be upset. She does not like having her diaper changed or clothes changed. She does not like to be left out by her sister, and follows her around the house to be a part of whatever Elizabeth is into.
Words she is using: dog (first word), thank you (and uses is appropriately), stop, bubu (bunny), baba (bottle), good job, mama, dada, booker, uh-oh, and she has a word for Elizabeth...but we can't decipher it quite yet.
Routine: she wakes up btwn 7-7:30am, has a bottle, breakfast, plays, has a snack, and sometimes takes a mid morning nap. She has lunch about 11:30-12, and then goes down for a nap for about 2 hours. When she wakes up she has a snack and plays until dinner (time depends on Clark...I try to get us to get together as a family every night, but sometimes the girls just can't wait). After dinner she enjoys a bath with her sister, and then we read books and play in her room until 7:30/8, where she will crash with her bunny and her right thumb after another bottle. She does not like to snuggle, and will ask to be put in her bed by pointing to her crib. She is a very good (and very different) sleeper from her sister.
Hannah is beautiful...just like her sister. She is finally growing some hair. She looks just like her daddy...except I think she is going to have my skin tone. Her smile is infectious, and she offers them to everyone she sees. We feel so blessed that God chose us to be her family, and are looking forward to watching her grow as her own little person.
