Hello Cocky!

Saturday we headed to Kid's Day of Lexington.  It wasn't exactly what we had expected, but we still had a blast.  We got to hang out with some of our friends from My Gym, try lots of new foods....and we got to meet Cocky for the first time!  Here are some pictures from our day...

Not the cutest picture....but we thought her cousin Parker would appreciate it...look, she can do a pirate face just like you!
Elizabeth and Clark read her book, "Hello Cocky," before we headed to kids day, and Clark had a nice talk with her about how we weren't going to be scared of Cocky.  At home she was very excited to meet Cocky...and she actually liked all the different characters at Kids Day as long as she didn't get too close.  She would wave and blow them kisses.  But once Cocky reached for her she decided it might not be that great of an idea. I made her take a picture anyway (I know...BAD MOM).  She did give Cocky a high five before we left.

We had a nice picnic with her My Gym Buddies.  Elizabeth got to try dried fruit, blueberries, cococnut macaroons, and strawberry cupcake to name a few...and liked them all.  Her favorite part of the picnic was the juice box.  This juice box story went much better than our first.  She just would not put it down.

It is tough to climb with a juice box in hand....

And it looked like she was even willing to share...although if it came down to it and Bryce actually took juice box I don't think it would have gone over too well.
We tried to get a group shot of the girls.  I got tons of photos....but not one was great.  Guess that is what happens when you try to take a picture of a 15, 16, 17, & 19 month old at the same time.

From L to R: Meredith, Elizabeth, Payton & Bryce

I love this picture...it so looks like Elizabeth is trying to talk Meredith into doing something bad...Payton is stressing out because her apple is almost gone...and well Bryce has just decided she really liked having her picture taken!

We are looking forward to our third Saturday of the month picnic in the parks.
