Dance Recital

Well...a few weeks later than I hoped, but here are pictures from Elizabeth's dance recital.  She did such a great job.  She has worked really hard every Thursday evening since January, and you could tell by how great her performance was.  Clark and I were really proud for her.  She danced with Creative Movement & Dance out of Crooked Creek Park.   They are no longer with our local rec center, so we are taking our summer off, and will be starting more sports in a few short months.  Right now there is talk of tennis, soccer, and/or dance.  They also offer Spanish lessons through her school....so that might become another extracurricular activity.

 I felt so proud for Elizabeth.  I laughed, smiled, cried....it was wonderful!  My bff Laura even volunteered to take the pictures so I could just watch the show!! Thanks Laura!

 E with her 'Grandmother' Aunt Laura & Carolina.  OK....Laura is really her Godmother, but it is so stinking cute when Elizabeth calls her Grandmother Aunt Laura.  I bet strangers get really confused!

 It meant a lot to us that some of our family and special friends were able to watch E's recital.  It was late on a Sunday afternoon, so understandably some were not able to make the trip.  For those who couldn't make it, don't worry! We got video on MiMi's phone, so we will get it transferred to a disc and share with everyone!
