We took a weekend trip with our good friends the Switzers over St. Patricks Day weekend to their home in Cherry Point, NC. Laura and Carolina have been home the past couple weeks as Dave is out in California for some work training, and we have LOVED having them around...and decided the take a girls trip back with them for the weekend for a serious friend fix. It was lots of fun...when we weren't in the car. We played outside a lot, enjoyed new-to-us toys and movies, and enjoyed a fun St. Patrick's Day festival. We feel so lucky to have such great friendsweconsiderfamily. Here are a couple pictures from our weekend.
At the festival Hannah stayed surprisingly entertained with all the people watching and fruit snacks.
Elizabeth was a great friend to Caroline as she rode her first big girl ride sans parent.
These two were pretty inseparable the whole weekend and played mostly very nice together. Hannah wasn't "big" enough by their standards to be included, but she enjoyed eating Caroline's snacks and crayons.
There are lots of playgrounds around their house, and we got to explore a couple.

Thanks Laura and Caroline for a great weekend! We hope Clark and Dave get to be a part of our next weekend getaway! By that point I will be toting around three kids and will definitely need all the extra help I can get!
